Amelia Community Theatre, Amelia Island’s only not for profit community theater , has welcomed thousands to its
stage — as theater patrons, volunteers, and participants in our educational programs.
Established in 1981, ACT is located in the heart of Amelia Island’s historic city of Fernandina Beach. ACT has a long history of
community and member support, culminating in the building of a beautiful, new facility in 2010. Both ACT performance venues, the
Main Stage and the original Studio 209, are also used for various artistic and social events, fulfilling the theater’s mission of “putting
the community on stage.”
With rare exceptions, ACT actors, producers, directors, and stage crews are unpaid volunteers, but the other aspects of mounting a
show do not come free. The costs of licensing, set materials, costumes, props, musical scores, and professional advisers are large and
growing. Your sponsorship will support and enhance ACT’s efforts to provide first-class theatrical productions for our community.
Sponsorship Benefits
Each of ACT’s six Main-Stage productions has the potential to draw audiences of up to 2,000, depending on the number of
performances. Studio 209 Here’s what you will receive for your sponsorship of a play at ACT:
 Acknowledgment of your sponsorship on the cover of the printed program for the sponsored show
 A half-page advertisement for your company in the printed program for the sponsored show
 Acknowledgment of your sponsorship in the relevant season show list appearing in the printed program for all
Main-Stage productions , assuming the deadline for printing is met.
 Acknowledgment of your sponsorship on posters, flyers, print ads, and other marketing for the sponsored show
 Acknowledgment of your sponsorship in all show-related media releases and other publicity
 During the run of the show, acknowledgment of your sponsorship in the Main-Stage lobby and the option of
having a staffed table in the lobby with your company’s material
 During the pre-show announcements, recognition of your sponsorship and introduction of an attending company
official,
if desired
 A link to your website from the ACT website or Facebook page during the run of you r sponsored show
 Two complimentary tickets to the opening night of your sponsored show Main Stage and Studio 209
 Eight complimentary tickets for guests of your choice during for your sponsored Main Stage show
 Four complimentary tickets for guests of your choice during the run for your sponsored Studio 209 show
 Behind-the-scenes tour of the theater for you and your guest
 A special liaison to facilitate communication and reservations
