CATALOG DESCRIPTION 2006-2008 Comprehensive introduction to implementing, administering and troubleshooting information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows 2000/XP. Major topics include attended/unattended installation; upgrading from a previous version; deploying service packs; resource administration; installation and troubleshooting of device drivers; monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability; configuring and troubleshooting the desktop environment; implementing, managing and troubleshooting network protocols and services; and implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting security.
