collected
 Students will complete analysis of Colliding Plates
from colliding
 Students will follow a recipe to create play dough that
plates
will be used in Tuesdays activity
Students will
create a shield

Target Question: How is a shield volcano created?




The students will watch videos on an explosive and nonexplosive
volcano and list characteristics of each to compare and contrast
Inquiry: Students will use the play dough to create a shield
volcano.
Students will mix baking soda and vinegar, they will trace the
flow of reaction. Students will place play dough where the flow
of reaction occurred Students will repeat at least 4x to build a
shield volcano
Students will complete lab questions for Lights, Camara,
Action Making volcanoes
