What Does NOGLSTP Do? ⇒ ⇒ Organize and present scientific symposia at the annual meetings of the American Association for the Advancement of Science; the most recent symposium was “Defining Male and Female: Biology and the Law” Host receptions for LGBT people at national meetings of scientific and professional societies ⇒ Assist professional societies establish and develop diversity outreach inclusive of LGBT people ⇒ Advocate written nondiscrimination policies for all companies, institutions of learning, and governmental agencies ⇒ Publish educational pamphlets; National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals, Inc., is a nation-wide professional association of lesbigaytrans scientists, engineers, and allies. Most NOGLSTP members are lesbigaytrans people with advanced degrees in life sciences, physical sciences, or engineering, and earn their living in the profession associated with their degrees. All people who support our goals — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, and professional training — may join our organization.
