• Resistance skills are skills that help

assertive, you show others that you are in

– Assertive behavior is the honest expression
of ideas, feelings, and decisions without

• A conflict is a disagreement
between two or more people or
between two or more choices.
• There are four types of conflict and
three conflict response styles.

an intrapersonal conflict.
• Interpersonal conflict
– Any conflict that occurs between two or more
people is an interpersonal conflict.

– An intragroup conflict is a disagreement

• Intergroup conflict
