Project title: Measurement of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of quinolones on avian Escherichia coli 2007 PhD in School of Veterinary Medicine,Chamran University,Iran.Project title: The role of outer membrane proteins of Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale in attachment to the chicken tracheal epithelial cells. POSITIONS HELD 1999-2002 Directress of Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory 2001-2002 Teaching at Tabriz University, School of Veterinary Medicine. 2002-2007 Teaching at Chamran University, School of Veterinary Medicine. 2007 until now Teaching at Tabriz University, School of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture. TEACHING ACTIVITIES General Microbiology 1 General bacteriology Veterinary bacteriology Virology Immunology Techniques of Microbiology MEMBERSHIP OF PROFESSIONAL ORGANISATION The Iranian Veterinary Association The Iranian Society of Microbiology The Iranian Society of Virology RESEARCH PROJECTS I am doing research on molecular epidemiology of bacterial and viral disease in animals. Bacterial disease of poultry is my particular interest. SUMMARY OF EXPERIMENTS I have studied; trained and applied the molecular biology techniques to study epidemiology of microorganisms. To conduct such researches I teach such techniques and other methods of research to my students. Some of the experiments which I use are as follows: Using of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) various applications in bacteriology and virology. Application of conventional bacteriological tests to identify the bacteria to the species level. Development of SDS-PAGE for different specious of bacteria and viruses. Using cell culture method for Influenza, BVD viruses. Using virus neutralization test for detecting BVD virus. Application of florescent microscope for detecting canine distemper disease virus. Development of cloning method for Infectious bursal disease virus.
