She has had a successful practice in Sidney, Ohio, for 15 years where she strives to maintain current on the latest orthodontic trends and developments in the field. The Forsus™ Class II Device plays an integral role in her practice’s objectives of treatment efficiency and patient satisfaction as a regular mode of treatment. Dr. Alvetro is presently on the staff at Case Western Reserve University teaching Practice Management. Anoop Sondhi DDS, MS – Dr. Anoop Sondhi received his dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and his post-graduate certificate and M.S. in orthodontics from the University of Illinois in 1977. Following his graduation, he was on the graduate faculty of the Department of Orthodontics at Indiana University. During his full-time academic appointment at Indiana University, he maintained a part-time private practice. Since 1988, he has been in full-time private practice in Indianapolis, and continues as a Visiting Professor for several graduate programs in orthodontics. He has presented seminars and continuing education courses to several dental and orthodontic organizations in the United States, and has been invited to give courses in Canada, Central America, South America, Europe, the Far East, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. J. Clifton Alexander DDS, MS – Dr. Cliff Alexander received his BBA degree from St. Edwards in Austin after which he moved to Santa Barbara, California to join a consulting firm. While there, he began to see the business side of dentistry as many of his clients were in the dental field. He realized that dentistry could satisfy his goals in business as well as his first objective of being of service to the people. So he decided to go back to school with the goal of entering dental school, and then of being accepted to orthodontic residency. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1993 and from St. Louis Department of Orthodontics in 1996. He was asked to join the part-time faculty in St. Louis in 2000 where he lectures and oversees orthodontic patient care once a month. He currently sees patients in both Coppell and Dallas Texas offices. Lars R. Christensen, Tandlaege, PhD, MOrth RCS Edin – Dr. Christensen is a Specialist in Orthodontics and Professional Services Consultant to 3M Unitek. He received his dental degree from the Royal Dental College, Copenhagen, a PhD in 1993 from the University of Copenhagen Department of Orthodontics and Department of Medical Anatomy. He received his MOrth in 1997 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr. Christensen is currently in private practice in Oxford, England. He has lectured extensively in Europe, the United States, Middle East, and Asia. Current research interests focus on the clinical application of modern bonding materials, MBT™ System treatment mechanics, adult orthodontics and aesthetic treatment. Jason B. Cope, DDS, PhD – Jason B. Cope received his dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry – DDS (‘95), orthodontic certificate (‘97), and PhD (‘99) in distraction osteogenesis. Upon completion of his orthodontic certificate, he was invited to join the department as an adjunct clinical assistant professor. During his career, Dr. Cope has published 18 refereed journal articles, 34 book chapters, a research handbook, and co-edited a 600-page textbook on distraction osteogenesis. Dr. Cope’s private practice is located in University Park, Texas, where he treats patients 4 days a week. In March 2002, he passed the American Board of Orthodontics exam, becoming the first person to complete ABO Option 2, and one of the youngest orthodontists ever to become a Diplomate. James Mah, DDS, MSc, MRCD, DMSc – Dr. James Mah is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. At USC, he is the Director of Redmond Imaging Center and the Director of the Craniofacial Virtual Reality Laboratory. Dr. Mah obtained his Bachelor of Science, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master of Science degrees and his Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics from the University of Alberta, Canada. Following that, he graduated from Harvard Medical School with a Doctorate of Medical Science degree and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedics at Children’s Hospital, Boston. He serves as an editor for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Korean Orthodontic Journal, the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, & Endodontics and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology. Mohammad R. Razavi, DDS, MSD – Dr. Razavi received his dental training at Case Western Reserve University – DDS (‘02), orthodontic certificate (‘05), and MSD (‘05) in tooth-size and congenital absence of teeth. Upon completion of his orthodontic training, he was invited to join the department as an adjunct assistant clinical professor. He is the Director of the Skeletal Anchorage Clinic at Case, and has integrated various TAD systems into the training program. He is a member of the craniofacial team at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Razavi is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada, and an ad hoc reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics. Dr. Razavi’s private practice is located in Mentor, Ohio. Hugo Trevisi, DDS – Dr. Hugo Trevisi received his dental degree in 1974 and received his orthodontic training from 1979 to 1983 at Lins College of Dentistry in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since that time he has been involved in the full time practice of orthodontics in Presidente Prudente, Brazil. He is a professor at the Specialization Course in Orthodontics at the Paulista Association of Dentistry-Presidente PrudenteBrazil, a member of the Brazilian Society of Orthodontics and the Brazilian College of Orthodontics. Dr. Trevisi has lectured extensively in South America, Central America and Europe and he has developed his own orthodontic teaching facility in Presidente Prudente. He has recently published a comprehensive orthodontic text entitled SmartClip™ Self-Ligating Appliance System – Concept and Biomechanics (2007 Elsevier). Robert Miller, DMD – Dr. Miller is a 1983 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia Orthodontic residency program. Dr. Miller entered the Air Force where he was the Chief of Orthodontics at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. He then moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where he practiced in a group private practice for 12 years. He currently practices with his wife, Dr. Juliana Miller who is also an orthodontist in Culpeper and Centreville, Virginia. Dr. Miller is a Diplomate, American Board of Orthodontics and has published numerous articles in the JCO on Adhesives and Class II Correctors. Dr. Miller has lectured throughout the United States and Canada.
