Field:

functions called Field.
Scalar Field [temperature, pressure]
Vector Field [Electric field, magnetic field, EM Field, Gravitational
field]
Field is a function of space-time coordinates F(x,y,z,t) or F(,t)
Electric Field:
“The space or region around a charge within which its electric force can
be felt by other charges”.
• Coulomb’s Law for the force of one electric charge on other
encourages us to think in terms of action at a distance but there is a
field present.
