6. (a) The diagram below shows George using his laptop. Light from the lamp is reflected by the laptop screen.
(i)
On the diagram above draw a ray of light to show how George sees the light from the lamp is reflected by the
laptop screen. Use a ruler. Draw arrows to show the direction of light.

7. When tobacco is burned in cigarettes, carbon monoxide is formed. A device called a ‘Smokerlyzer’ measures the
percentage of carbon monoxide in a person’s breath. This indicates the percentage of carbon monoxide in the person’s
blood.
Four people tested their breath using a ‘Smokerlyzer’ as shown below. They repeated the test every two hours during
one day at work.
The results are shown in the table below.
Normal ranges for CO levels in the blood: Adults (non smokers): less than 2.1%
Adult smokers:
