Should abortion be restricted?
Abortion is the surgical removal of an embryo or fetus from a pregnant woman's body.
Abortion is regarded as one of the safest operations in the medical field, even childbirth is
thought to be considerably more dangerous than abortion, putting the mother's life at risk.
Abortion is therefore safe and effective when performed according to the guidelines and safety
precautions, when done in a dangerous manner, however, dangers occur.
Abortion should not be deemed murder in the first ten to twelve weeks of pregnancy.
Even though the fetus begins to develop a face, limbs, legs, and other features by the tenth week,
scientific study has shown that it lacks consciousness and does not qualify as a human being. In
some cases, abortion should be fine for example if a pregnancy is complicated and the mother
may suffer as a result of the kid, I believe it is acceptable to perform an abortion. It's critical to
comprehend the numerous concepts behind abortion. A mother's right to an abortion should be
left to her own choice, as she is the most aware about her situation, she will be the host body for
the baby for nine months, even though it is her own. Taking away a woman's or a girl's ability to
have an abortion does not mean they are no longer in need of one. As a result, measures to ban or
restrict abortions have little effect on the number of abortions performed; instead, they encourage
individuals to seek out improper abortions. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines
unsafe abortions as "a procedure for ending an unplanned pregnancy carried out either by
individuals without the essential skills or in a setting that does not conform to basic medical
standards, or both," according to the WHO.
In conclusion, Abortion should be legalized in some specific cases, for example, if the
baby is handicapped, and if the mother has gotten raped, etc. In my opinion other than these
cases abortion should not be carried out.
