Instructions:





Roll a die four times. Keep track of your rolls on the back of this page.
Draw a schematic circuit diagram that accurately represents the instructions for each roll. Be sure to use the
symbols we have learned in class and use a ruler to make straight horizontal and vertical lines to represent wires.
You will repeat this process two times, but you can only roll a number in each column ONE time. Keep rolling until
you roll a different number and build a different circuit!
Record the rolls and draw your circuit diagrams on the reverse of this page.
Next, draw a third diagram using proper symbols and conventions. It should include 6-10 components (including
loads, sources, and at least two other components; use as many wires as you need). On a separate page, write out
a description of this diagram. Be sure that the description is detailed enough that another student can draw the
circuit you are describing. You may use complete sentences or jot notes for your description.
Evaluation:

Communicates effectively using scientific conventions (symbols, lines, ruler) within diagrams

Draws two complete circuits accurately based on instructions provided by dice rolls (including correct components,
correct placement/wiring of components, complete circuits)

Draws third circuit of choice (based on outlined requirements) and describes what was drawn accurately and
effectively, and with sufficient detail that a student could recreate the circuit based only on the description
