Geneva Bioinformatics (GeneBio) S.A. (hereinafter known as GeneBio) has been granted
exclusive rights by the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (hereinafter known as SIB)
for the licensing of the SIB Licensed Databases PROSITE, SWISS-2DPAGE and
SWISSSIDECHAIN databases to all entities accessing these databases for commercial
use.
These licensed databases are for research purposes only, and not for clinical use.
SIB is responsible for maintaining and updating these licensed databases and is
responsible for the content and validity of these licensed databases.
Neither GeneBio nor SIB make any representation or warranty regarding results obtained
from using any information, products or services offered.
SIB and GeneBio bear no responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages or
direct or indirect damages that result from the use of results, data or information, which
have been provided through their servers.
The responsibility of GeneBio and the SIB is limited to applying their best efforts in
providing and publishing up to date programs and data.
GeneBio and SIB provide Internet links to other remote sites and services. GeneBio
employees, consultants, and agents are not responsible for the availability of these
services.
All information regarding access rights and use of the licensed databases and services
provided by GeneBio are described by the license agreement(s) between GeneBio and
the user.
The names of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) and of Geneva Bioinformatics
(GeneBio) S.A. should not be associated with publicity or business promotion without
prior written approval.
