Care is a priority, informing and educating them so they can make informed decisions regarding
their oral medical health. Dentrix DentalCare has been around for over twenty years and
services over 15,000 Albertans.
As a Hygienist you are responsible to your designated daily success and the clinic’s success as
a whole. As a Hygienist your direct report is the Business Operations Manager & Partners. You
are also provided with a group coordinator (known as Continuing Care Coordinator or Recall
Coordinator)
Responsibilities Are:
❏ Participation in team meetings when attendance is requested by Operations Manager or
Team Lead (dentist)
❏ Participation in 2 Hygiene dinner meetings a year
o Following all risk management and safety protocols as set out by one’s Hygiene
Organization as well as our Practice protocols.
o Promotion of good oral care and health, and communication to dentists regarding issues
and or trouble spots.
❏ Monitoring and recording individual production/time loss and adjustments in monitor's
report provided.
❏ Knowledge of scheduling and treatment planning protocols set by team doctors
❏ Assist other hygienists when needed (temps, new staff, and orientations)
❏ Excellent customer /client service
❏ Building professional relationships with colleagues and patients
o Flexibility and helping out others on your Hygiene team when needed
Hours of Work are as follows: (permanent part time)
Tuesdays: 11:30am-7pm
Fridays: 8am-3:30pm
Saturdays 8:30-4pm (1 per month, prescheduled)
