ESSENTIAL
Qualifications
 BDS or equivalent
 Eligible for FULL registration
as a dental practitioner with the
General Dental Council
 Minimum of 3 years
postgraduate experience.
 Thorough knowledge of
primary care NHS dentistry
demonstrated by completion of
VT/GPT/FD or certificate of
equivalence (or equivalent)
Knowledge
Appropriate for post-dental core
training (DCT):
 Shows awareness of own
limitations
