We are looking for a team player that seeks the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in various departments within the organization. Position Overview: Reporting to the President/CEO, supervising the engineering team, and collaborating with sales and manufacturing the Structural Engineer will serve as the lead engineer on small and mid-­‐size projects of various sizes and complexities. This position will focus on project engineering duties and will include the management and mentoring of junior engineers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop structural construction documents for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings with various structural designs consisting of steel, aluminum, and engineered materials • Perform structural analysis using engineering software • Review shop drawings • Communicate with clients and other consultants regarding projects • Perform a variety of engineering work on the initial planning and design phase of projects • Perform the necessary analysis and design for projects including but not limited to: design of foundations and steel structures • Perform as engineering design lead and engineering team leader • Direct team personnel, coordinate design and drafting requirements for projects based on schedule requirements • Assist with manpower requirements for projects • Assist with Project Management as needed Skills/Abilities/Education Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the design and building structures • PE designation •

Technical experience with a variety of building types from both a functional and systems perspective Ability to travel up to 10% Bachelor or Master’s degree in structural engineering (Master’s preferred but not required) Working knowledge of building codes Ability to manage projects to meet schedules and deliverables Strong technical and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Proficient with common engineering software Proficient in verbal and written English Experience with Solid Works Working knowledge or Revit Structure preferred Experience doing site work preferred Ability to effectively communicate with design team members, project management, and clients contacts is required Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience along with incentive opportunity, and benefits.
