Littlefield Grid Infrastructure As of 09/15/2015 ­ Littlefield Systems, LLC Basics: Littlefield Grid consists of 5 region servers, 1 Grid / Asset server, 1 MySql Database server, 1 external backup server. Data Flow: Littlefield Grid’s servers communicate between themselves via an internal GB fiber private network at 1000mbps. Communication to the outside world is via a GB fiber network connected to the Internet at 1000mbps. Users connect via their local viewer via the internet via 1000mbps network interface to the region/grid servers. The Region/Grid/Asset/Database servers communicate with each other via the internal 1000mbps backbone network for faster throughput and efficiency.
