Gods are plentiful but money isn’t, so you are limited to ten pages in your yearbook. Pick your 10 favorite Greek gods or heroes to feature. Using magazines, newspaper for the internet, find pictures that you feel best represent each Greek god or hero. Think about the character’s nickname, attributes, and stories. You can base your choice on many things. For example, Apollos is known as the god of sun, so an image of a tan, blonde surfer could work. However, Apollo is also known for his love of music, so an image of a talented musician would work as well. For each character, list his or her official name, nickname (god of…), spouse and mates, children, and one thing that made him or her famous. Pick (10) ten from the following list: Zeus Hera Poseidon Hades Athene Apollos Hermes Aphrodite Hestia Hebe Hephaestus Dionysus Theseus Atalanta Prometheus Achilles Eros Pygmalion Artemis Demeter Pan Perseus Hercules Medusa This project is worth 100 points: • Each character is worth 10 points. • To get all 10 points, you must: o o Include an image from a newspaper, magazine, or periodical. Fill out all information fields: o Name o Nickname o Spouse/Children (if any) o Known for If a field does not apply (i.e. Artemis has no children), then put “none” or NA. Do not leave the field blank. If you do not have access to newspapers, magazines or the internet, Mrs. Schaefer & Mrs. Pasquale will have some you can take home. Please reach out to us if you need them. Created with WinCalendar Calendar Creator More Templates: 2014 Calendar, 2015 Calendar
