Baby checks and childhood immunisations are by

families of children under five years.

advice, treatment and support.
 Flu Clinics
Each autumn the surgery holds flu immunisation clinics for
patients over 65, children aged 2,3,and 4 years, and for
patients whose medical condition would put them at risk
should they catch flu. Patients should look out for notices
giving clinic details which are posted around the surgery and
on the website at this time.
 Long Term Conditions
Patients with diabetes or heart disease should be reviewed at
six-monthly intervals. The practice also provides appointments
to monitor lung function for patients with respiratory problems

extra monitoring for their diabetes. All patients with long term
conditions are encouraged to have regular reviews at the
surgery.

Please be aware that most travel immunisations are not
covered under the NHS and are charged for privately, this
includes antimalarial tablets.

assist patients who are at risk of developing heart disease,
stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.
 Non-NHS Work
Most reports and claim forms and some letters are not covered
under the remit of the NHS and will attract a fee. You will be
advised of this at the time of making your request and a list of
chargeable services and fees is available at reception. Our
doctors also conduct private medicals. We are happy to accept
cash or make debit or credit card transactions but we regret
we cannot accept payment by cheque.
