At Foundation Radiology, we don’t “read mammograms.” We practice
breast imaging and intervention. Our goal is to see a woman annually
for her screening mammogram and quickly provide her with the “all is
well” result. But, we also provide a full array of breast imaging services
centered on helping the patient benefit from early detection.
From diagnostic imaging to biopsy to wire localization, we guide women through the process,
collaborating with their referring physicians and surgeons.
Our highly skilled and dedicated breast imagers carefully review the screening mammogram to
detect abnormalities, including small cancers, while minimizing recall rates. Most of our breast
imagers are fellowship trained — all meet Foundation Radiology’s stringent criteria for cancer
detection rates, recall rates and continuing education. Foundation Radiology Group’s highly
interactive model enables our breast imagers to readily consult with each other, including
conferring with our most experienced breast imagers, when challenging cases arise.
