Current responsibilities
As Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Beijing, Julien leads a team of almost 300
professionals, setting the direction and driving growth strategies for the Firm’s Beijing operations.
He currently serves on the Firm’s Greater China leadership committee.
Julien Zhang also heads up the Jones Lang LaSalle China Business Desk, a platform that
provides Chinese corporations, developers and investors as well as government clients with
integrated consultancy and strategic advisory solutions designed to meet their increasingly
sophisticated needs. The China Business Desk also leverages Jones Lang LaSalle’s global
platform to assist Chinese firms who are undergoing rapid international growth with investment and
expansion strategy advisory so as to facilitate the navigation of complex overseas markets.

With more than 15 years’ experience at Jones Lang LaSalle in China, Australia and United States,
Julien has extensive commercial real estate experience in almost all sectors. He represents clients
in a broad range of occupancy solutions including relocation and expansion projects, dispositions
and consolidations, specialized facilities, headquarters and campus developments, sales and
flexible office rollouts, lease assignments, and portfolio planning strategies. He serves as the firm’s
corporate client account manager and single point of contact for several key clients, delivering
consistent real estate transactions management services.

Julien also has extensive experience providing project leasing consultancy advice for developers,
investors and landlords including strategic planning, leasing strategies, comprehensive marketing

positioning, planning and marketing of the Beijing Kerry Center - one of the top five Grade A
