Math next week will be moving

Finish up Rosa parks article (NF)
into division. We will be taking it
slow so don’t panic yet! The
students will be learning new
Focus Skill/stragegy:
Finish up Reasons & evidence(RI 4.8)
strategies that we didn’t use in
school. You are welcome to
Google partial quotient division for
Academic vocabulary:
Defiance, boycott, segregate,
integrate
videos to get an idea of what
we will be looking at.
We will still be working on
multiplication so keep practicing
those facts!
This week we will
continue to learn about
events that lead up to
the American civil war.
We will also be learning
about civil rights leader
Martin Luther king, jr.
• We will be finishing up the
Water cycle just in time
for WATER fest on Friday,
1/15! (yay!!).
• We will be deepening our
knowledge of evaporation,
condensation, and
precipitation!
Reading – our first 1 page reading response letter due 1/15/16 and Any
unfinished journal entries.
We will also have a test on ri 4.8 (reasons
&evidence)
Math – math review quiz this week
Science – water cycle quiz on Thursday, 1/14/16
