NUCLEAR/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER JOB POSTING The Navy's Nuclear Power Program is a very challenging and rewarding career path for those who can qualify. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and between 17-27 years old. Minimum high school diploma and one year completed college algebra is also required. Degrees are not required but are strongly encouraged. Training is approximately 18 months in Charleston, South Carolina and completion awards up to 90 credits to apply to an undergraduate degree in engineering. Work cites include, but are not limited to land based power plants, nuclear powered aircraft carriers and submarines across the United States. Acceptance of this job offer comes with a top secret security clearance and a signing bonus of $11,000. A retention bonus of $100,000 is paid every 3 years on the job in addition to the engineer's salary.
