Douglas Shire Council – Team Leader Construction - Civil Assets The Douglas Shire is seeking a Team Leader Construction – Civil Assets The key responsibilities of this role are leading a team to deliver quality road, bridge and drainage construction services, following relevant engineering standards and delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties will include; Supervision, motivation and management of the Construction – Civil Assets team. Planning and delivery of the council’s civil construction services. Effective management of the capital projects to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Essential skills and knowledge for this positon are; Proven success in the delivery of road, bridge and drainage construction and maintenance in a supervisory position. Experience and success in building a maintaining a culture of high performance in a workforce. High level of organisational skills and experience co-ordinating multiple projects at any one time. Experience in managing infrastructure assets and asset information within a Local Government Asset Management Framework.
