University of Trieste-Italy Department of Physics GRADUATE PROGRAM IN PHYSICS IN TRIESTE The PhD program is a three-year graduate program which provides curricular courses and specific training activities. The Students will carry out an original scientific work at the leading edge of their field, producing a written dissertation in one of the following research areas: Astrophysics, Condensed Matter Physics, Medical Physics and Biophysics, Nuclear and Sub-Nuclear Physics, Theoretical Physics. One scholarship is reserved to candidates of countries not belonging to the list of "High-income economies” (World Bank definition).
