Accuplacer Math Prerequisite: high school diploma, GED, or diploma from another country, recognized by the college admissions office. This class is for students needing to brush up on the math skills needed to get into credit bearing introductory college math courses as determined by the Accuplacer placement test. These skills include understanding basic algebra and geometry. Students with credentials needing more fundamental instruction in fractions, Decimals, percents, or geometry will be directed to the appropriate trimester length courses. Assessments Accuplacer is used as an informal placement assessment and as a summative assessment for placement in credit bearing college courses.
