Quali Tech Continues to Add Expertise to Product Development
Dr. David Fennell joins Quali Tech® as Director of Product Development, Research & Quality
Assurance and Ken Henderson as Product Development Chemist.
Chaska, MN, October 13, 2010 – Quali Tech®, maker of SQM™ protected trace minerals and a leading
manufacturer of animal feed components for over 40 years has recently hired Dr. David Fennell to head
up the product development, research and quality assurance departments. Quali Tech is proud to
welcome Dr. Fennell, a dynamic professional to the leadership team.
As Director of Product Development, Research & Quality Assurance, Dr. Fennell is charged with all facets
of product development and quality assurance, including overall strategy, chemical expertise and
manufacturing technology.
David has over 35 years of experience in product development, research and quality assurance in
manufacturing business. Dr. Fennell brings an exceptional background to the company with a Master’s
Degree in Analytical Chemistry and PhD in Chemistry. He has worked for M&M Mars, Nabisco, Pepsico,
Leaf UK/USA (Huhtamaki), Briess Industries and Quality Ingredients in a variety of roles, primarily
Director or Vice President of Quality Assurance, Product Development and Operations, in England,
France and United States.
Quali Tech would also like to welcome Ken Henderson to the research and development team. As the
Production Development Manager, Ken will be formulating new products for animal and plant nutrition.
Ken has over 20 years experience in new product development, applications research and test method
development. He holds two patents for boiler scale control. He is also a member of American Society of
Quality (ASQ) – certified auditor and Association of Textile Colorists and Chemists (AATCC). Quali Tech
is thrilled to have Ken on the research and development team.
