A BILL TO BE ENACTED
AN ACT
Relating to the lawfulness of Embryonic Stem Cell Research in the State of
Texas.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The deliberate fertilization of a human egg by a human sperm for the sole
purpose of embryonic development intended for ultimate destruction of the human
embryo for the purpose of scientific experimentation shall be deemed unlawful within the
state of Texas.
SECTION 2: This act goes into effect September 1, 2010
