A THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEM APPROVED BY EOTA ETAG 004 TESTS
Bostik ClimaTech Energy Saving Systems
Bostik Turkey achieved another success with the façade thermal insulation system developed for
energy saving.
Bostik, one of the fast developing and growing companies in the sector since May 2009 when new
constructional product programme was launched, had an international success with ClimaTech
Energy Saving Systems in 2010. ClimaTech Energy Saving Systems produced at Bostik manufacturing
sites in Turkey and presented under system guarantee with the supplement of products supplied
from Turkey passed the performance tests (descriptive guideline for façade thermal insulation
systems) specified in EOTA (European Organization for Technical Approvals) Etag 004 guideline. This
story of success was shared with the whole sector representatives during Istanbul Construction Fair
2010.
An international study was carried out for 8 months under Austrian independent test institute
BVFS's monitoring and inspection at Wacker Chemie AG facilities in Germany. Bostik ClimaTech was
entitled to sales and marketing in all European Union member countries in line with European
Union adjustment laws owing to the report obtained from these performance tests.
This international project that Bostik, a global leader providing service in 50 countries worldwide
with its high quality adhesives, insulating materials and construction chemicals, achieved with the
products manufactured in Turkey will serve as a model to its competitors by raising the bar about
"Quality" which is a common problem in the country.
