• Departments may install software onto all non-individually assigned computers
• Current individual faculty and staff may install and use software on one primary work computer,
one secondary work computer, and one home computer (with certain restrictions)
• Current students may install and use software on one personally owned computer
• Departments, current employees and students are only licensed to use software during the
MSCA contract period
• Students that graduate during a MSCA contract period have their MSCA licenses convert to
perpetual licenses

MSDN-AA – Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (renewed annually)
• Departments may install software onto all non-individually assigned computers used for
academic purposes only
• Individual faculty may install software onto all work computers used for academic work, and one

• Current students may install software onto one personally owned computer if required by
coursework
• Departments, current faculty and students are only licensed to use software during the MSDNAA contract period
• Students that graduate during a MSDN-AA contract period have their MSDN-AA licenses convert
to perpetual licenses
