The IIO will also serve as AUB’s designated Title IX coordinator, undertaking all of the tasks
and responsibilities, including training, to ensure compliance with Title IX and other relevant
US legislation on the prevention of discrimination, discriminatory harassment, and sexual
violence.
Leading candidates will have an advanced degree in a pertinent field and a minimum of five
years’ relevant administrative experience at a US institution of higher education. Possessing
strong communications and interpersonal skills and a high degree of cultural sensitivity, the
successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to moderate disputes and facilitate
constructive dialogue for their resolution; investigate sensitive matters while strictly adhering
