the platform for advanced communication
on the move
The SCOTTY Communication Platform (SCP) is a newest generation
hardware coder/decoder and processing unit delivering audio, HD video,
and data over satellite and other challenging networks with limited
bandwidth and high latency. It is used for beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) video
surveillance and communication from the air and on land.
The SCOTTY SCP is based on two components: the SCOTTY HD580 hardware
H264 codec and a compact processor unit. The combination enables duplex
video communication, one-way video streaming, snapshot transmission,
and video recording.
The SCOTTY SCP Package
• DO-160 G qualified
• Optimized for live video at high and
low bandwidths
• H.323 VTC from 64 kbps to 8 Mbps
• User-defined resolution versus
frames per second settings
• “Snap & Send” HD Snapshots
• SCOTTY Fast File Exchange
• Integrated processor for data,
Internet, scanner, etc.
• Designed for harsh conditions
• Compatible to PC and audio/video
peripherals
• Customized equipment for SatCom
technical data
