Construct-a-Cell Project
This is an individual project. It is worth a test grade, so be sure to do
your best work and to follow the rubric. You may choose to make a 3D
model or make a drawing on poster board. There are many ideas online
that could help you. You will be provided time in class to do this. This
project is due by the end of school on Thursday, October 8th. However,
you will be provided time in class to work on it October 2nd through
October 8th (2 class periods). NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Each model must include all of the following organelles:
Cell wall (if plant cell)
Cell membrane
Ribosomes
Nucleus
Mitochondria
Vacuoles
Cytoplasm
Endoplasmic Reticulum
Lysosomes (if animal cell)
Chloroplasts (if plant cell)
Golgi Apparatus
Use the rubric to be sure you have included all of the parts and are
turning in a quality project.
