Strategic objectives of GFP (1)

To reduce risk behaviour among children and
young people aged 10–24 and to increase
their knowledge of HIV related issues

To reduce risk behaviour among injecting
drug users aged under 25

To reduce risk behaviour among sex workers
and reduce vertical transmission of HIV


To prevent HIV transmission in prisons

To reduce risk behaviour among men who
have sex with men (MSM) and increase their
knowledge of HIV related issues

To improve the quality of life of people living
with HIV by improving access to health care
and social support services

cooperation amongst organisations involved in
the programme to effectively meet the objectives
