crucial aspect of disease-oriented research.
On the other hand, reactive oxygen species (ROS), produced endogenously as a result of normal cellular metabolic
functions or from external sources, poses a significant threat to cells since exposure to ROS can result in severe
damage to DNA, protein, and lipids. Identifying specific forms of oxidative damage is often the focal point of
interest in different types of cancers and various neurological diseases. Antioxidant defenses to minimize
fluctuations in ROS are critical to cell survival and dictate approaches to disease treatments to reduce risk of
cancer or age-related functional deterioration.

Migration Inducer for 48 h or left untreated (control cells). Treatment with Control Migration Inducer demonstrated a significant increase in
migration as compared to untreated cells. C) Cell Invasion (8 µm-pore, Collagen I coating) using 75837-076: NIH-3T3 and HT-1080 cells were
starved overnight and treated with Control (Cnt) Invasion Inducer or remain untreated (No Treatment). Treatment with Control Invasion
Inducer demonstrated a significant increase in invasion of HT 1080 cells as compared to NIH-3T3 control cells

Glucose Uptake Kits (Cell Based)
Diabetes has been recognized as a disorder of glucose intolerance for many decades. Insulin stimulates the
glucose uptake into muscle & adipose tissues to maintain the whole-body glucose homeostasis. Among many
different methods available for measuring glucose uptake in cells & tissues, 2-deoxyglucose (2-DG) has been
widely used because of its structural similarity to glucose. As with glucose, 2-DG can be taken up by glucose
transporters, and metabolized to 2-DG-6-phosphate (2-DG6P). 2-DG6P, however, cannot be further metabolized,
and thus accumulates in the cells. The accumulated 2-DG6P is, therefore, directly proportional to 2-DG (or glucose)
