engagement of their daughter,
Ming Qi, to Iain Ross Ballentyne
Bolton, son of John D Bolton,
Demorest, Georgia and Irene
Walker-Bolton, Midlothian,
Virginia,
Ming is the granddaughter of
Jintao Qi and Aiqing Zhou of
Shanghai, China and the late
Fuyuan Feng and Lianbi Zhao of
Shanghai, China.
Iain Ross is the grandson of the
late J Dixon and Dorothy Bolton
of Canterbury, England and the
late John Stewart and Agnes Ross
Walker of Midlothian, Scotland.
Ming, a Jefferson Scholar, earned a Distinguished Bachelor of Science degree in Systems
Engineering from the University of Virginia and presently is a third year student at the
Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk.
Iain Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Foreign Affairs from the
University of Virginia, Masters degrees from the London School of Economics and the
University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing his academic studies and teaching
with the University of Connecticut.
In September, a Chinese/Scottish wedding is planned in Richmond.
