Employment history and experience Current occupation: Assistant Lecturer in the Pediatric Oncology Department, South Egypt Cancer Institute (SECI), Assiut University, Egypt. This department represent the largest and most important pediatric oncology department in Upper Egypt and it belongs to one of the most famous and oldest universities in Egypt (Assiut University), our patients come from all other cities in Upper Egypt, we serve children aged from 1 month up to 18 years, we do the diagnosis, treatment of malignant tumors including supportive care, palliative care and follow up patients for any recurrence or late side effects, in addition we are enrolled in research projects aiming to increase survival and decrease late effects of these patients. Previous positions: Visiting Doctor in the department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Freiburg University Children’s Hospital, Germany from 01/04/2012 till 30/09/2014. Visiting Doctor in the department of Pediatric Oncology at Cologne University Children’s Hospital, Germany from 09/10/2011 till 30/11/2011. Rotation in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Leukemia Services at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, USA from 1st August 2011 through 27th August 2011 as sponsored by the International Outreach Program. Registrar of pediatric oncology, Children Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE) 57357, the largest children cancer hospital in the world, from 1st February 2010 to 1st May 2011, I was responsible for caring, follow up, diagnosis and treatment of 15 patients in the ward at day time and for 40 patients at nights shifts, in addition to the Emergency/ Triage Unit, also I shared in all the clinical rounds and combined clinic there.
