Mercury
Mercury is covered in craters it has a surface like
the moon. Mercury can sometimes be the
closest planet to Earth Mercury is neither the
hottest not even the coldest planet.
Venus
Venus is the hottest planet of all planets Venus
is covered in thick hot clouds of poisonous
gases. Venus has big volcano that is more than
3 miles high.
About Earth
Earth is a lot more different than the other
planets. Earth is the only planet with life
scientists believe. Earth is a planet with water
that is one of the thing that make Earth
different. There are thousands of animals on
Earth. The sun provides Earth with light. Earths
core is a bit like the suns core it is made of iron.
With plants on our planet the plants provide us
with oxygen.
Mars
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun Mars has
three massive volcanos. Water used to have
existed on Mars but has now frozen Mars also
has a north pole and a south pole that is were
scientists think the water is.
Jupiter
Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar
system. The planet spins so fast a day is less
than 10 hours long . Jupiter is the brightest
planet in the sky .
Saturn
Saturn is a big gas planet it weighs nothing and
saturns rings are rocks flying in a circle. Saturn is
the second largest planet and the sixth planet
from the sun.
Uranus
Uranus is a gas planet the seventh planet from
the sun. Uranus was hit by an asteroid and was
tilted and spins a completely different way it
spins like a wheel on a car.
Neptune
Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun and
the fourth gas planet and neptune has a storm
like jupiter. Neptune is the farthest planet in our
solar system.
