The Big Four Tournament 2017 Rules
 All fish must be caught using a rod and reel
 Weigh Two Snapper (your heaviest and one other), One Kingfish,
One Trevally, One Kahawai per angler for these categories
The Fish City Super Big Four (see rules attached), The Big
Four – All four Species, Overall Heaviest,
Second and Third Snapper - Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and Small-fry,
Kingfish - Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and Small-fry.
Trevally - Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and Small-fry.
Kahawai - Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and Small-fry.
$250 prize to snapper closest to mystery weight
$250 prize to kingfish closest to mystery weight
$100 (x5) spot prizes to be drawn
 Weigh fish at Fish City, The Raglan Club, Oamaru Bay Tourist Park
(Coromandel), any NZSFC Affiliated Club Weigh Station, or Marist
Rugby Club (Sunday between 2:00pm and 4:00 pm only), Old Farm
Road, Hamilton.
(Fish over minimum weights for boat prize to be weighed by an official weighmaster)
 Fish must be weighed or Catch Cards submitted at Marist Rugby
Clubrooms between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm Sunday April 30th.
Correctly completed and signed off catch cards can be submitted
by a nominated angler, who is also entered into the tournament,
on your behalf.
 Incorrectly completed and illegible catch cards will not be entered
at the discretion of the tournament committee.
 Ticket includes a Roast Meal at Marist Rugby Clubrooms from 5pm
onwards. Non entrants Roast Meal is $15 per head. Please notify
committee prior to tournament commencement.
 Prize Giving commences at Marist Rugby Clubrooms, 6pm April
30th.
 Anglers must be present at prizegiving for drawn and spot prizes
 Safety is the skippers’ and anglers’ (in the case of land based,
personal water craft, or Kayak) responsibility.
 WSFC does not accept any responsibility for safety of anglers and
crew.
 Get your tickets from Raglan Club, Fish City or ONLINE at
www.waikatosportfishing.co.nz; entries close at ticket outlets by
close of business on Wednesday 26th April, and 11:00pm online.
 Entry Only $55 per adult, $25 per Junior and $15 per small-fry
 Fish anywhere in New Zealand Waters from 1am, Friday April
28th, until Weigh in close-off 4pm Sunday, April 30th.
 Anglers may weigh Two Snapper (Your heaviest and one other),
One Kingfish, One Trevally (not Giant Trevally), and/or One
Kahawai.
 Prize giving 6pm Sunday April 30th at The Marist RFC Clubrooms,
Old Farm Road, Hamilton. This is a licensed venue, no BYO
permitted.
