Future POS wins an impressive Three Awards at 2015 RSPA Conference
Future POS Inc., The developers of Future POS software, received an unprecedented three awards last night by the
Retail Solution Providers Association (RSPA) at an awards ceremony at The Gaylord Palms Resort and Conference
Center in Kissimmee, Florida. The Retail Solution Providers Association is the only association dedicated to the
retail technology industry.
The first award of the evening was presented by the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) and Vertical
Systems Reseller (VSR) Magazine for Future POS’s and POS Partners (a Chicago based Future POS Reseller)
customized loyalty program for The Beer Market, LLC, a fast growing craft beer bar and restaurant concept. The
award was given for ISV/VAR Collaboration between John Giles, President of Future POS and Lance Bell, President
of POS Partners. Both companies were honored for working together on a “Beer Club” loyalty program that was
needed to drive brand loyalty and higher sales through repeat customer engagement. The movement from manual
registration at The Beer Market, LLC to smartphone application increased the customer’s program participation by
tenfold, and sites with the smartphone application have gained member counts by over 100%. The collaboration
was a win and according to Greg Goodrich of The Beer Market, “we expect to roll-out the solution to all of our
stores in the near future.”
The second award of the evening was presented by the Retail Solutions Providers Association to Future POS
President and CEO, John Giles, who proudly accepted the Gold “Vendor of Excellence” Award in the Software
Category on behalf of his entire development team. According to Giles, “I’m the one who gets to stand up on stage
and accept the award, but it’s my team back in Butler who are the ones who have earned it. They work hard every
day to improve the product’s features and reliability, so we continue to deliver the best products in the market.
We also strive to improve internal processes, like technical support, and are always looking for new ways to deliver
products and services to our dealers so we can provide everything they need to be successful today, tomorrow,
and 20 years from now.”
The Third Vendor Award of Excellence “The GOLD Medallion” was also presented to Future POS last night. This
award is an honor given to a vendor by their resellers and is highly coveted in the retail technology industry. RSPA
Vendor Awards of Excellence are the only awards in the industry where resellers can actually vote for their favorite
vendors in seven categories. The vendor with the best overall score in all categories receives the Gold Medallion so
this award is truly an honor.
