12th Nordic Summer Institute
in Labor Economics
June 6–7, 2017 in Mols
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for the best labor
scholars in the Nordic countries to get together and discuss their work. The
meeting will contain both contributed and invited papers. The keynote speakers
are Jon Guryan from Northwestern University, Chicago, and Ghazala Azmat from
Sciences Po, Paris.
The Department of Economics and Business Economics and TrygFonden’s
Centre for Child Research at Aarhus University organize the meeting in
collaboration with Uppsala University, the Norwegian School of Economics and
Aalto University.
The meeting starts in the morning on Tuesday, June 6 and extends to the
afternoon on Wednesday, June 7. The meeting takes place at Molskroen
(http://www.molskroen.dk/) where accommodation is also reserved. A
beautiful seaside location close to Aarhus Airport. The organizers cover
accommodation for all participants (two nights for non-Danish participants) and
reimburse travel costs for presenting authors. The number of participants is
limited to 30, and we expect to have 12–14 contributed papers.
Papers submitted to the meeting should be sent to Mette Vad Andersen
([email protected]) by March 31. The local organizers will evaluate all
submissions and communicate acceptance decisions by April 15. Presenters of
accepted papers and other participants should register by May 1. See the
conference website here:
