Spend a semester in Denmark! VELUX Scholarship Programme The scholarship programme is for talented, but financially disadvantaged young people (full-time university students at undergraduate level study programmes) from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria The students will be given the opportunity to enroll at the International Business Academy (IBA) or Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (KEA) for one semester The project is funded by the VELUX Foundations What does the scholarship offer? 5.486 DKK (app. 730 EUR) per month 3.000 DKK (app. 400 EUR) travel support Free tuition Free books (can be borrowed from the IBA/KEA library) …and lot more Host institutions in Denmark Study programmes at the IBA Study programmes at KEA What are the requirements? You can apply if: You are a full-time undergraduate student at one of the partner institutions You have social/financial disadvantageous background Your current study is relevant to one of the study programmes at the IBA/KEA You have good academic results/qualifications You have good English skills (both oral and written) How to apply? If you meet the above mentioned criteria and wish to apply, you have to send the following documents to the international office at your university: Completed application form (with photo) Transcript of records (from your current study programme) Documentation of your financial status Recommendation letters from your teachers English language exam (if you have any) Other relevant documentation to proove academic, social and financial status Application deadlines Autumn 2014 semester: April 15, 2014 Spring 2015 semester: November 15, 2014 ”My experience in Denmark helped me to see education in a different light.
