"Hosanna Loud Hosanna" © Public Domain Jeannette Threlfall and W.H. Monk Jeff Redd, Stanza 2 CCLI #606984 Hosanna loud hosanna The little children sang Through pillared court and temple The lovely anthem rang To Jesus who had blessed them Close folded to His breast The children sang their praises The simplest and the best From Olivet they followed Among the joyful crowd The victory palm branch waving With praises clear and loud The Lord of earth and heaven Rode on in lowly state Nor scorned that little children Should on His bidding wait "Hosanna in the highest!" That ancient song we sing For Christ is our Redeemer The Lord of heaven, our King O may we ever praise Him With heart and life and voice And in His blissful presence Eternally rejoice CCLI #606984 All Glory Laud and Honor © Public Domain / J.M. (Trans) Neale / Melchior Teschner / Theodulph Of Orleans CCLI #606984 All glory laud and honor To Thee Redeemer King To whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas ring Thou art the King of Israel Thou David's royal Son Who in the Lord's name comest The King and Blessed One The company of angels Are praising Thee on high And mortal men and All things created make reply The people of the Hebrews With palms before Thee went Our praise and prayer and anthems Before Thee we present To Thee before Thy passion They sang their hymns of praise To Thee now high exalted Our melody we raise Thou didst accept their praises Accept the praise we bring Who in all good delightest Thou good and gracious King CCLI #606984 Blessed Be The Name CCLI #606984 Series: Son of God Sermon: Jesus’ Death…My Death Scripture: Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 2:19-21 Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB ) 1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB ) 4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB ) 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin. Galatians 2:19-21 ( NASB ) 19 “For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. 20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21 “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.” • • • • • What is the death I must die?
