Ramon Medina Joins Stamford Federal Credit Union as Financial Service Representative
Stamford, CT-June, 2015- Stamford Federal Credit Union (SFCU) is pleased to announce that
Ramon Medina has joined the Credit Union as Financial Service Representative.
Mr. Medina comes to Stamford Federal Credit Union with over twenty years of experience in the
local banking community. He has an extensive background in customer service, deposit services,
and lending. Prior to joining SFCU, he worked as a universal banker at Webster Bank and
customer service representative at Peoples United Bank.
“We are excited to welcome Ramon as part of our team. As a longtime Stamford resident,
Ramon knows the community and its people extremely well. He is also bilingual which will
allow us to better serve our Hispanic members,” said SFCU President and CEO David Lucas.
Mr. Medina attended the American Institute of Banking and the New England Banking Institute.
In addition to coaching his grandson’s sports teams, he is also League Director and sports official
for the City of Stamford’s softball, football and basketball programs. He is also a stage,
television and movie actor. Mr. Medina resides in Stamford with his wife Michele, daughter
Simone and grandson Terrance.
