Jewish Forced Labor Camps
Concentration Camps
• Concentration camps became places where
millions of ordinary people were enslaved as
part of the war effort, often starved, tortured
and killed. Although most of the people were
Jews, often times prisoners were forced to do
wartime labor at no cost other than life and
very meager food and shelter.
List of Concentration Camps
• It is estimated that the Nazis established
15,000 camps in the occupied countries. To
compile a list would be very long. What it
would look like.
