TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.
Any person(s) opening or operating an account with the Bank will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms
of Account and the applicable Schedule of Bank Charges issued and amended from time to time by the Bank.
2.
Individuals cannot place Competitive Bids for GoP Ijarah Sukuk auctions.
3.
Non-Competitive Bids option is not available for GoP Ijara Sukuk.
4.
UBL will mark the investment fund as “Lien” till the settlement takes place to restrict the outflow of investment funds.
5.
UBL will not process the bid if customer account balance is less than investment funds.
6.
In case of Non-competitive bids, Investors are allowed to submit only one bid in a single tenor and in case of submission of
multiple bids, all such bids would be treated as void.
7.
In case of acceptance of bid by State Bank of Pakistan, the customers and their branches will be intimated through e-mail by UBL
Treasury Capital Market, Head Office.
8.
In case of rejection of bid by State Bank of Pakistan, the customers and their branches will be intimated through e-mail by UBL
Treasury Capital Market, Head Office.
9.
UBL Treasury Operations Head Office will provide the Tax Challan to the customer as and when it is received from State Bank of
Pakistan.
10.
UBL will not be responsible for any delay on the part of the customer in providing the Non Competitive Bid / Competitive Bid letter
prior to cutoff-time.
11.
UBL Treasury Operations will issue a Quarterly IPS Account Statement or as advised by SBP from time to time.
12.
UBL will only credit the client’s Account in lieu of profit or principal payment of T-Bills, PIBs or Ijara Sukuks as and when received
from SBP.
13.
All transactions will be charged as per Schedule of Bank Charges.
14.
UBL will mark the IPS account as Dormant, if there is no activity / no holding for 1 year. To activate the IPS account, customer
shall come in person to the respective Branch and submit the Request Letter for the activation of IPS account along with the copy
of CNIC. The bank reserves the right to disallow operation in account during the period of dormancy.
15.
Neither the Bank nor its service providers shall be liable for non-delivery, delays delivery, errors, loss or distortion in transmission
of sms or e-mail alerts to the customers.
16.
As it is a mandatory requirement for branch customers to have a checking account for opening Investor Portfolio Securities,
however all relevant T&Cs will be applicable as per regular Account Opening Form.
