• It is immature cobs of
sweet corn
• Picked right off the stalk as
the ear begins to develop
• Has a crisp texture and
sweet flavor
• Bite-sized and only 2-4
inches long
• Baby corn is essentially the same as the mature
corn on the cob.
• In fact, you eat all of it – cob and all!
• The cob is not eaten in more mature corn
because it is too tough to digest.
• Baby corn is eaten both raw and cooked.
