Mahua Tree (Madhuca longifolia)
A tropical, fast growing tree commonly known as “Illupai” best suits for Indian
conditions. The edible flower attracts birds and blooms at night. It also provide
excellent roosting site for birds. Apart from being attractive to birds, this tree
is known for medicinal properties. It’s oil cures skin disease and chronic
ulcers. And also used as bio diesel.

Jamun Tree (Syzygium cumini)
An Evergreen tropical tree known for it’s delicious fruit and shade giving
property. Though it is a slow growing tree, has a long life. It attracts large
number of birds during its fruiting season between May to June. Besides that
Jamun fruit is rich in vitamin A and C, and cures diabetes.

Neem Tree (Azadirachta indica)
Popularly known as “healing tree” found in most of the home gardens of India
attracts birds of various species like common myna, Yellow vented bulbul,etc.,
Birds feed on the fruits that sets twice a year. It’s branches provide a good
nesting site for birds.

Mango Tree (Mangifera indica)
Fruits ripe in summer and attracts parrots, cuckoos and golden orioles.
Besides that in full bloom stage it attracts bees and nectar feeding birds.

Medium sized evergreen tree commonly called as “Maghilam” is known also
for its fragrance of flowers. The fruit is edible and has medicinal property. This
tree also attracts bees, bats and birds.
