UNIVERSITY TRIALS
DATA PREFACE
Researchers include but are not limited to:
•Dr. Donn Shilling - Former Director University of Florida West and Mid-Florida Research Center.
•Dr. Candace Lowell - Central State University - Ohio
The following data was collected while using the original liquid formulation of SC27 containing only 27 strains of
soil Fungi, Bacteria and Actinomycetes.
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
TRIAL CONDUCTED BY DR. DONN SHILLING
Dr. Donn Shilling - Former Director University of Florida West and Mid-Florida Research Center.
Crop -Tomato - Studies conducted at the University of Florida-Gainesville IFAS-Experiment
Station. Highly controlled field experiments subjected to irrigation, normal fertilization and
standard pesticide applications thru out crop cycle. Sole environmental or cultural practice variable
is SC27 microbes.
Treatment - 16 oz./acre - Liquid formulation, 27 soil microbes. 3 reps per crop and 3 rows treated
and 3 rows non treated. Control - No SC27 Treatment
Data- Total above ground fruit production at harvest - Weight measured in university standard
metric system

Central State University Ohio
TRIAL CONDUCTED BY DR. CANDACE LOWELL
Dr. Candace Lowell
Crop - Tomato - Field plots were established by Dr Lowell at the American Aggregates field site in Xenia Ohio.
Trial: 200 - 6 inch plants of Big Boy Tomato were planted. Half of plants were treated at planting with 16 oz/acre of
SC27. 1/2 non treated with SC27. SC27 was the only environmental or cultural variable. Standard Fertilization,
Pesticides and irrigation used on both plots.
Data - Durning the growing season Dr Lowell took 4 harvests of ripe Tomato’s. Data is the total weight of all Tomato
Fruit at each harvest. Numbers in University standard metic system - Kilograms
