Reporting 3.Verification DANAOS MRV The Problem: Regulation (EU) 2015/757 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 29 April 2015 on the monitoring, reporting and verification of carbon dioxide emissions from maritime transport, (hereinafter the MRV REGULATION) and Directive 2009/16/EC as amended requires to monitor and report the CO2 emissions from ships arriving at within or departing from ports under the jurisdiction of a Member State, and to have the reports verified by an independent and accredited verifier. “EU version of SEEMP” DANAOS M R V The Solution: DANAOS MRV module MONITORING DANAOS MRV is compatible with all methods described in EU MRV Regulation for data collection. Pre-verifies consolidated data prior to transmitting them to the respective 3rd party verification bodies. DANAOS MRV tool utilises emission data that flow through the Commercial Suite & Technical Suite. Monitoring plan template(s) (pending) integrated into DANAOS MRV for different vessels types.
