– policy decisions and processes, the role of Norges Bank
– viewpoints and theoretical basis
– National and international network
• Phase 1: collection of biographical data and
bibliographical material
• Phase 2: conducting and recording of interviews

• Give an overview of
– the archival situation (bottom up)
– changing governance structure (top down)
– relevant literature available
• Aims
– provide an overview of available resources for the history
projects
– basis for the identification of topics and research questions
for main projects
– provide the international academic experts involved in the
project with a manageable overview of central topics and
phases in Norges Bank’s history
